This crank trigger kit is designed specifically designed for the Kawasaki KZ engine. It allows you to use the stock points cover.
With this trigger you need to drill into the engine cover and it is recommended to tap the hole to screw the sensor into the cover and lock it down with the two jam nuts provided, this keeps the sensor from moving and changing the gap on the trigger wheel.
The trigger wheel is precut to be a 24-2 and is also cut for the crank pin on the back side.
